There is a lot of pressure to take visiting friends and family to the best places the city of Madrid has to offer. After all, they are only visiting for a short period of time so it is impossible for them to see everything. I have created a list of the top 3 bars where you will find delicious food, fun atmospheres and beautiful views of the city of Madrid that are perfect to take visitors to while studying abroad in Madrid!
Círculo de Bellas Artes
Círculo de Bellas Artes is a rooftop bar with a 360 degree view of the city of Madrid. The rooftop has everything from a restaurant section, to high top tables, and grass patches for people to lay out on and enjoy the view. Círculo de Bellas Artes rooftop bar is a great place to take visitors on a beautiful day for some Moscow Mules and chicken salad while taking in views of Madrid that expand for miles.

Ojalá
Want to show visitors a little bit of beach while in the city of Madrid? Head on over to Ojalá to dip your toes in the sand! While the main floor of Ojalá appears to be a normal bar, descending to the basement takes you right to the beach. The basement floor of Ojalá is covered completely in sand. The lounge chair cushions in the sand create a laid-back atmosphere. Ojalá is the ideal place to bring visiting friends and family for a night of refreshing margaritas and delicious patatas bravas!

El Chapandaz
El Chapandaz is Madrid’s very own cave bar! The bar is located in the university sector of Moncloa in Madrid. El Chapandaz is the perfect place to take visiting friends to for a good time at night. Plus you can show them the stalagmites and stalactites hanging from the ceiling! El Chapandaz has a homemade drink known as “Leche de Pantera,” which consists of milk, rum and their secret ingredient. The drink comes out of the ceiling and can be served in a large gauntlet for a group to share!
